The founder of URMC, Ken Avery, was a licensed insurance agent for several years selling insurance ranging from personal lines to group health, to business coverage’s and commercial liability. He spent fifteen years in the role of business analyst, honing his skills to identify problems, issues and efficient solutions for those issues. For the past ten years, Ken has focused his expertise in the alternative risk management and captive insurance arena. Ken has spent six years working with the Utah Captive Insurance Association as a member of the Board of Directors, and for the past eight years has been involved with the planning committee for the Western Region Captive Insurance Conference.
